Master’s Degree Programs in Medical Illustration
Currently five graduate medical illustration programs in North America are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) upon recommendation from the Accreditation Review Committee for the Medical Illustrator (ARC-MI). These programs are indicated with the CAAHEP logo (right). More information on this rigorous quality assurance system is available here.
In Europe, the Institute of Medical Illustrators (IMI) runs a separate accreditation program. For an updated list of accredited European programs, visit the IMI education page.
