An exhibition of medical illustration by AMI member Neil Hardy
Neil Hardy, a member of the AMI since 1962, has an exhibition of his work in the Weston Public Library in Weston, CT during the month of October, 2015. Neil served as AMI President (1982-3) and was the 1997 recipient of the AMI Lifetime Achievement Award. Working from a home studio, Neil has produced clear accurate illustrations, primarily in pen and ink, for books and medical magazines, for many decades. He illustrated A Guided Tour of the Living Cell by Christian de Duve, published by the Scientific American Library. Neil taught a business policy course in the medical illustration graduate program at Johns Hopkins from 1985 - 2003 and was the 1991 recipient of the Ranice Crosby Distinguished Achievement Award.
